Hi! I’m Amy, a technical artist who’s worked on everything from AAA shooters to indie VR puzzle games.
I aim to develop artists’ technical knowledge and facilitate strong communication between technical and artistic teams. I use my balanced knowledge of technology and art to improve the art to engine pipeline, authoring art tools and using my knowledge of various platforms to set budgets and guide teams through content optimization. I’m also a big fan of visual effects and shaders!
Outside of my professional work, I am passionate about narrative design and story focused games, and am interested in how I can bring technical art skills such as tool development and inter-discipline communication to this field. Some examples of this work include a markov chain based poetry generator and several visual novels.
